During the first weekend of SXSW 2025, the Asian Pacific Filmmakers Experience (APFE) celebrated its seventh edition at the South by Southwest Film Festival. The event brought together AANHPI filmmakers, storytellers, creatives, and community leaders for a lively networking reception called “ATX Film Talks & Happy Hour.” This vibrant gathering honored the talent and contributions of AANHPI voices in film while fostering meaningful connections.

Co-hosted by the Austin Asian American Film Festival and AZN Americana, the event took place on March 8, 2025, at Hold Out Brewing.
